MARY ELIZABETH DAVIS

Mary Elizabeth (Stephens) Davis, age 71, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at her home in Pine Knot, Kentucky.

She was born in Pine Knot on February 16, 1944, the daughter of Arnold and Grace (Creekmore) Stephens.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving family include her husband Jimmy Davis of Pine Knot, a son James Lewis (and wife Rebecca) of Corbin, three daughters: Susan Tucker (and husband Kevin) of Whitley City, Matty Patton of Smithtown, Kentucky, and Calyssa Davis of Pine Knot.  Her brothers are Jimmy Stephens of Pine Knot and Charles Stephens of Pine Knot.  She was blessed with ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.  She liked to go fishing and enjoyed taking care of her family whom she loved so very much.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Coffey officiating.  She will be laid to rest at the Pine Knot Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. until time for services.
