MARY HELEN EGNOR

Mary Helen Stephens Egnor, Age 74, of Dayton, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord and her husband, Oscar, Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Hospice of Dayton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Egnor officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 - 1:00. She will be laid to rest in the Upper Cal Hill Cemetery in Pine Knot.

Mary was born on April 14, 1933, the daughter of the late Noah & Artie Lay Stephens. Besides her husband and parents those preceding her in death are a grandchild, Brian Lee; a great grandchild, Alyssa Kay; three brothers Dennis, Claude and Clyde "Abe" Stephens and three sisters Beulah, Blanche and Betty Jo Stephens.

Mary is survived by her loving companion for the past eight years, her dog Cody; six children, Brenda Burchett, Dennis Egnor, Deborah Burchett, Kenny Egnor, Denny Egnor & his wife, Gina, Jack Egnor & his wife, Marcy; seven grandchildren, Greg, Christy, Helen Nicole, Geoffrey, Brandon, Denise and Kayla; and eight great grandchildren.

There are five sisters, Rose Murphy, Doris Perry, Lois Reeves, and Orangelee Spradlin all of Pine Knot and Molly Thompson of Revelo; two brothers, Noah Jr. of Pine Knot and Calvin Stephens of Lake City, Florida; and numerous other family members and friends.

Mary will be remembered by all as a very loving mother, grandmother and friend.
