Melissa Privett Walker

Melissa (Privett) Walker age 55 of the Meadows Grove Community in Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at her home. 

Born September 3, 1966, she is the daughter of the late (Ray) Riley and Melba (King) Privett.  

Surviving family include a daughter, Rachelle Waynette Walker Lee (Cameron) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, a sister, Sharon Gooch of Pine Knot and brother, Clellie "Bub" Privett (Sharon) of Pine Knot, two grandchildren: Riley Dell Lee and Walker Isiah Lee and a special friend, David Alaniz.

Melissa was a homemaker who loved her family dearly.  She enjoyed working outside in her garden and her yard.  She loved church and singing.  She sang in a group "The Gospel Tones", with Sharon and Faye.  She was a dreamer and had several dreams that came true.  Her greatest joy in life was her grandbabies.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial is to follow in the King-Meadows Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday at 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
