Michael Duncan, age 57, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at the Jean Waddle Care Center at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY

He was born March 14, 1960, at Bunker Hill, Indiana, to Clarence Edward Duncan and Roshelle (Martin) Duncan.

His father precedes him in death.

Surviving family include his mother, Roshelle Duncan of Pine Knot, Kentucky; his daughter, Miranda West and husband, Steve, of Stearns, Kentucky; his long time companion, Christi Williams of Pine Knot, Kentucky; special grandchildren, Gavin, Kylee, and Kendall West; brothers, Gary Duncan and wife, Rebecca of Pine Knot, Kentucky, David Duncan and wife, Rita, of Strunk, Kentucky, Bruce Duncan and wife Fran, of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sisters, Linda Duncan of Paintsville, Kentucky, Sheila Wilkinson and husband, Joe, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, and Karen Privett and husband, Lonnie of Sevierville, Tennessee.

Michael was a driller for M & W Drilling Company of Knoxville and a member of the First Hickory Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching sports. Mike also enjoyed working in the garage, tinkering with cars, and doing construction work. But above all things, Mike loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren and especially loved his Pug dog “Toby”.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 4, 2017, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie King officiating. Burial is to follow in the King Meadows Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time for services at the funeral home.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
