MICHAEL EDWARD MUSGROVE

Michael Edward Musgrove, age 60, of Pine Knot, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at the McCreary Health and Rehab Center.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at the Musgrove Cemetery where the Kinne Slaven Post 115 of the American Legion will provide honors. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00pm till 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Michael was born June 24, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of R.L. and Jewell (Wright) Musgrove. He is preceded in death by a brother Steve Ronald Musgrove. Surviving family include his wife Gloria (Ross) Musgrove of Pine Knot whom he married May 1, 1976, his parents R.L. and Jewell Musgrove of Pine Knot, his children Michael Musgrove, Pine Knot, Tammy Lynn Anderson, Pine Knot and Crystal Dawn Lockard of Richmond. He had two surviving brothers; Dewayne Craig Musgrove and David Bruce Musgrove both of Pine Knot.

He has four precious granddaughters whom he adored; Gabrielle Renee Anderson, Alexandria Paige Anderson, Jayden Elise Pepperman and Alexia Rachelle Wilson. Besides his grandchildren he took pleasure in spending time outdoors and fishing. He was a member of the Marsh Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed attending. He had worked various jobs but most recently had driven a truck. He was proud to be a United States Army veteran.
