Mickle Joe Goins

Mickle Joe Goins age 33 of Parkers Lake, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born May 19, 1985 in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of Finley Ridner and Wilma Lee (Goins) Ridner. Mickle enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and deer hunting. He also enjoyed helping out at the Jones Saw Mill. Mickle was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone, even a stranger. He made it a mission to make people smile. Mickle was a family man and though he didn't have any children of his own, he always took claim to his nieces and nephews, especially Brenton, Conner, Carlee, Baylee, and Amanda Gale.  

Mickle is preceded in death by his father, a nephew, Dalton Perry and a niece Chelsey Daugherty. 

Surviving family include his mother, Wilma (Goins) Ridner; brothers, Toby and Sharlene Ridner of Sloans Valley, KY, Dino and Elaine Ridner, also of Sloans Valley, B.J. and Melissa Goins, Brandon and Lisa Goins, Finley and Crystal-Pooh Goins, and Braxton and Rebecca Goins, all of Parkers Lake; and a sister, Veron Lynn and James Fuson of Parkers Lake.

Mickle is also survived by many friends and several nieces and nephews, Samantha, Justin, Danyel, Natasha, Ashley, Erica, Thad, Melissa, Sierra, Autumn, Desiree, Briannia, Ryan, Dekeaton, Trevor, Stacy, Estle, Brenton, Conner, Carlee, Baylee, Emeligh, HUnter, Hagen, Willie, Amanda Gayle, Kaitlynn, Austin, Brooklynn, Cassandra, Shania, Shavonna, and Desmond. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church with Bro. Daniel Ridener and Bro. Dow Goodin officiating. Burial to follow in the Goins Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday after 5:00 pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations please be made to the funeral home.
