Mike Anderson

Teddy Michael Anderson, better known as "Mike" age 61 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, January 5, 2026 at the Jean Waddle Care Center, Hospice of Lake Cumberland. 

He was born December 10, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio to LJ Anderson and Wilma (Perry) Anderson. 

Mike is preceded in death by his father; a brother, Jeffrey Anderson; and a sister, Debbie Johnston.

Surviving family include his mother, Wilma Anderson; children, Michael Don Anderson (and Jennifer), Jay Allen Milton Charles Anderson, and Cassondra Kay Anderson Corder (and Andy); brothers, Gary Anderson and David Anderson (and Lynne); a sister, Tammy Anderson-Lyons; and grandchildren, Justin Anderson, Raylyn Anderson, Hailey Anderson, James Corder, and Allison Corder. 

Mike was a drywall finisher by trade but had also worked in automotive as a mechanic and body work. He was very creative and artistic. Mike had the ability to make visions, reality. His creativity led to becoming a cutler, making his own knives as well as collecting them. Mike had a musical talent as well, listening to music and playing guitars. Mike will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. 

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Braxton King officiating. Burial to follow in the T Chitwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday after 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with the remaining expenses.
