Patricia Slaven

Patricia A. Slaven age 42 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at her home.

She was born March 17, 1981 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Billy Ray Cox and Edith Ann (Kidd) Cox. In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Slaven.

Surviving family include her sons, Elton Stephens and Calvin Corrigall; brothers, Will Cox (and Christina) and Tim Cox (and Tonya); a grandchild, Baylee Stephens; and other extended family and friends that she loved dearly.

Patricia was of the Baptist faith. She loved to take walks, loved her family, and loved to help others. Everyone called on her to help because she was always happy to do so. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Cremation was chosen. The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date and she will be placed in the Hayes Creek Cemetery.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
