Paul Slaven

Paul Slaven, age 43, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at his home in Whitley City, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 p.m. until time for services at 2:00.

Per his wishes, Paul will be cremated.

Born in Marshes Siding, Kentucky, he was the son of Paul Benjamin and Rebecca Gay (Watson) Slaven.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Slaven, two children: Calvin Corrigall of Whitley City and Elton Stephens of Pine Knot.  He has two sisters: Karen Knox (Mike) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Barbara Webster, also of Cincinnati.  He has a special nephew, Alex Watson and a special uncle: Steve Watson.

Paul was an outdoorsman who loved to deer hunt and fish.  He liked games and music and enjoyed being with his family and friends.

 Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
