Pauline Cordell

Pauline Murphy Cordell age 93 of Pine Knot, Kentucky, widow of Ethred Cordell, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Sweetwater Hospital. 

She was born on March 10, 1924 to the late Arnold and Flora (Johnson) Murphy. Pauline was a homemaker, she enjoyed caring for her family. In her younger years she enjoyed raising and caring for a garden. 

Surviving family include her children, Donald Cordell and wife, Gwen, of Lagrange, Kentucky and Linda Manis of Sweetwater, Tennessee; grandchildren, Robin Manis, Kenny Manis and wife, Rachel, Dawn Graves and husband, Danny, and Patrick Cordell; great-grandchildren, Marideth Bradley, Morgan Bradley, Dallyn Sloat, Rye Patrick Cordell, Callie Leamon, Courtney Leamon, Robert Manis, Lela Manis, and Seth Manis; and a sister, Maxine Stephens of Georgia. 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Silerville Cemetery.  In keeping of Pauline’s wishes, no public visitation will be held.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
