Pauline Lay age 96 formerly of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, July 31, 2026 at the TriHealth Hospice Care in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was born on October 24, 1930 in Pine Knot, Kentucky to the late Lawrence Braden and Flonnie (Cordell) Braden. Her husband, John Luster Lay also precedes her in death.
Surviving family include her children, David Lay (and Karen), Sharon Cliff (and Dennis) and Sheila Phelps; and several grandchildren.
A private graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 5, 2026 at the Lower Cal Hill Cemetery.
Pine Knot Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
