Pauline Stanfill

Pauline (Stanfill) O’Regan Chitwood age 94 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in Signature Health Care of McCreary. 

She was born September 25, 1929 in Pine Knot, Kentucky to the late Ernest Stanfill and Mossie (Privett) Stanfill. 

In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick O’Regan; daughter, Sherri O’Regan; a son, Patrick O’Regan; brothers, Roger, Delmar, and Willie Stanfill; and a sister, Doris Cornells.

Surviving family include her son, Michael O’Regan (and Lisa) of Pine Knot; a daughter-in-law, Ellen O’Regan of Winfield; grandchildren, Shannon O’Regan and Michelle Kennedy; and great-grandchildren, Laraya O’Regan, Azden O’Regan, Donivan Kennedy, and Savannah Kennedy. 

Pauline was of the Baptist faith and was a natural born caretaker. She loved her family, was always caring for them, and going all out for her children. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Pine Knot Cemetery.
