Peter Paul Sziber

Peter Paul Sziber age 64 of Stearns, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, June 15, 2026 at his home.

He was born on September 10, 1961 in Caro, Michigan to the late James Sziber and Joyce Ann (Vasold) Sziber. In addition to his parents, Peter is preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy and Steve Sziber; a sister, Mona Pigie; and a brother-in-law, Joe Hembry.

Surviving family include his wife, Nina (Anglin) Sziber; his son, Paul Sziber (and Tiffany); daughters, Ashley Gabbard (and David) and Alyssa Young; a brother, Harry Sziber (and Sally); sisters, Margaret Hembry, Vera Hellard, and Sue "Susie" Anglin; several special nieces and nephews that he loved as his own; and several very special "Georgia Brothers".

Also surviving are his grandchildren whom he loved more than they knew, Jeremiah Laxton, Destiny Laxton, Tiha Sziber, RiaLin Sziber, Ares Burns, and Carter Gabbard; and great grandchildren, Willow Laxton, Leon Chitwood, and one on the way.

Peter was an auto mechanic by trade who enjoyed tinkering with his hands. He was an avid outdoorsman who took much pleasure in fishing, camping, hiking, and just being outside. Peter loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and more than anything, he loved spending his time with them. His passing will be mourned by all who knew and loved him.

In keeping of his wishes, Peter will be cremated. The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
