Reba Geraldine Manning

Reba Geraldine Manning departed from this life on June 18, 2015 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY, being 77, 10 months and 27 days old. She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky, on July 22, 1937 to the late Rube Cox and Alpha Stephens.

She was a Cosmetologist for nearly all her life. She was a member of the Pine Knot Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking and playing on her computer. She loved her family and friends dearly.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Earl Manning, one son: Michael Taylor, one daughter: Lisa Bowing.

Surviving family includes: two sons: Danny Spradlin of Nancy, KY, Ralph Manning of Chatsworth, GA, five daughters: Patricia Stephens of Dalton, GA, Melinda Clark  and husband Faron of Cooperative, KY, Claudia Beaty and husband Jack of Winfield, TN, Teresa Strunk and late husband Tom of Stearns, KY, Kimberly Manning of Pine Knot, KY, and dear friend whom was like a daughter Kimberly Whalen, of Pine Knot, KY, eighteen grandchildren, thirty- five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2:00 in the Chapel of the Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Wilson officiating. A private burial was held at a later date. Pine Knot Funeral Home assisting the family.
