Richard Lee Musgrove

Richard Lee Musgrove age 65 of Pine Knot, Kentucky went to be with the Lord at his home on April 9, 2019.

He was born in Pine Knot on April 7, 1954 to the late Eldred and Sophia (Meadows) Musgrove. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Edwin Musgrove.  

Surviving family includes his wife, Beverly Baird Musgrove whom he married, June 29, 1974; two children, Dana Sharp and husband, Jacob, and Derek Musgrove and wife, Stacey, all of Pine Knot; a step-son, Anthony Bryant and wife, Rhonda, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida; two sisters, Doris Wilson and husband, Costello, and Mary Musgrove, also of Pine Knot; his grandchildren that were dear to Richard’s heart, Kallie Sharp, Leighton, Morgan, and Keegan Musgrove, Mason and Tyler Bryant, and Shayna Perry. Also surviving are four young men whom Richard and Beverly raised as their own, Johnny, Daulton, Cody Ridner, and Michael Brooks and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Richard was a hard worker who did plumbing, construction, and excavating for many years. In his spare time, he loved being outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and four-wheeling. Richard also enjoyed playing cards with his friends. But above all, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved family. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Casada officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday after 5:00 pm until service time. Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Musgrove Cemetery
