Rita Belene Jones

Rita Belene Freels Jones passed from this life on August 4, 2022, at the age of 56.

She was born on October 3, 1965, in Oneida, Tennessee to the late Clifford and Ella Mae Freels.

Rita attended Davis Hill Church of God, she enjoyed crafting and collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, but most of all she loved her cat, Callie Mae, her dog, Shadow, and she loved her family. Rita was known for her caring heart, outgoing personality, and extreme love for everyone she knew.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Clifford and Ella Mae Freels, her beloved daughter, Andrea Belene Foster, her niece Amanda (Mandy) Carrie Freels, and nephew Timothy (Aaron) Freels.

She is survived by her son, Gregory Lee Foster of Pine Knot, one granddaughter, Adrianna (Taylon) Overton of Robbins, Tennessee, a special friend, Thomas McCarter of Pine Knot, Kentucky, brothers Adam (Janet) Freels of Henderson, Kentucky, Timothy (Sandra) Freels of Pine Knot, and Joseph (Kimberly) Freels of Somerset, Kentucky, many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she held very close to her heart.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. at the Davis Hill Church of God with Bro. Clay Cook officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 6:00 p.m. until time for services at 8:00 p.m.  Burial will be on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Freels Family Cemetery.
