ROBERT DUNCAN

Robert Lee "Ponytail Bob Duncan, age 63 of North Carolina, formerly of McCreary County, passed away on Monday March 16, 2009 at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Funeral Services will be Saturday at 1pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Josh Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.

He was born in Strunk, Kentucky on December 27, 1945, to the late Juanita Duncan Grooms. His mother precedes him in death.

Survivors include a son, D. H. Green of Danville, KY and 5 daughters; Angela Duncan, Robin Duncan, Christy Duncan, Bobby Jane Duncan and Cathy Catron. There is also a brother, Richard Goins of Fayetteville, North Carolina and a sister, Rita Louise Corey of Clarkston, WA.

Bob was an United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club and of the Baptist Faith.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family of Ponytail Bob Duncan in his funeral arrangements.
