ROBIN JOHNSON

Mr. Robin Johnson, age 60 passed away Saturday, August 18, 2007 at his home on the Bethel Road in Pine Knot. Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Day officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Flat Rock Cemetery in Whitley City, Kentucky. The family will receive friends Monday evening after 6:00 at the funeral home.

Robin was a heavy equipment operator for many years having worked for D. H. Campbell, Inc., and for Shamrock Coal Company. He was a great outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hunting deer and turkey, fishing, and boating. He also enjoyed woodworking.

Born on May 2, 1947, at Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Robin Albert and Mary Ann (Jones) Johnson.

Surviving family include his wife Martha (Ball) Johnson of Pine Knot, whom he married September 21, 1971, in Jellico, Tennessee. Robin and Martha have a son and daughter-in-law Steven and Tammie (Emerson) Johnson who live in Stearns. Robin has two sisters Margaret (and Arvil) Bryant and Betty (and Ray Joe) Vaughn all of Stearns. He also has two half brothers and a half sister, Lee, Bobby and Wanda Johnson, all of Brookville, Florida.
