ROSALIE JUNE KILBY

Ms. Rosalie June Kilby, age 81 of Pine Knot passed away on Wednesday March 25, 2009 at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Kilby Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-7pm at the funeral home.

She was born in Coxton, KY on December 29, 1927 to the late Lee and Cleda Stephens Roe. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David William Kilby who died on February 19, 1984, 2 sons, David Lee Kilby and Eric Kilby and one daughter, Lula Madison. 1 brother, Harold Roe and a sister, Mae Gibson.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Rosetta Waters and her husband Jim and Cleda Gray both of Pine Knot. 14 grandchildren, Corey, David, William, Marvin, Phyllis and Chrissy. Daniel, Carrie, Cindy, Mary Ann, Tammy, Tonya and Toni. There are 33 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Ms. Kilby was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She will be sadly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
