Mr. Russel Lynn Terry, age 56 of Strunk, Kentucky, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 9, 2012.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2012, at Pine Knot Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Upper King Cemetery on Bald Knob. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time at 1:00 p.m.

Russel had been a truck driver having retired after 34 years. He last worked for Barna Log Systems for 12 years. He enjoyed his riding his motorcycle and dune buggy. He loved horseback riding and camping, but his passion was trucks.

Russel was born on April 11, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio. His parents were Fred and Lois (West) Terry who precede him in death. Also deceased is a son Lucas Ray Burke, three brothers Alton "Bud" Terry, Clifton "Tip" Terry and Craig Terry.

Surviving family include his wife Dale (Watson) Terry whom he married on March 24, 1999, a daughter Jaime Terry (and Adam Roberts) of Canton, Ohio. 2 additional children, Daizi Jane and Shy. A brother Earl David "Abner" Terry of Jellico, Tennessee, a sister Wilma June West of Colorado, three grandchildren; Braydon, Riley and Presley Emery. Very special people in his life was a friend Dawn Snider, his in-laws Amanda and James Ball and their children Mahayla Rose and Devon James Ball, Sandy and Pat Watson, Dean and Amy Watson and their children Logan Wayne and Dennis Lynn, sister-in-law, Barb Terry, a niece Rachel Roberts and nephew Travis (and Lacy) Roberts. There are several other sisters in laws and neices and nephews also surviving.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
