RUTH ANN ROBERTS

Ruth Ann Roberts, age 69, of Helenwood, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012, at her home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 1, 2013, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Ulanda Price officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Hickman Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p-.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors. She had attended the Hilltop Church and her main pleasure in life was being with her children and grandchildren.

Ms. Roberts was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 8, 1943, to the late Theodore K and Edna Mae (Gibson) Roberts. Others preceding her in death are a brother Jimmy Roberts and a sister Mary Lou Jones.

Surviving family include three children Denise (and Mark) Kowell of Helenwood, Tennessee, Dester Kenneth (and Tammy Vay) Phillips of Somerset, Kentucky, and Dwayne (and Mandy) Young of Uniontown, Ohio. She had 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her sisters are Jewell Stephens, Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Wilma Jones, Stearns, Kentucky, and brothers Billy Roberts, Huntsville, Tennessee and Frank Roberts, Louisville, Kentucky.
