SUE CAROL MEADOWS

Sue Carol Meadows, age 68, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013, at her home in Pine Knot.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2013, at the Meadows Grove Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest at the King Meadows Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening after 6:00 at the church.

Sue was born in Pine Knot, Kentucky, on November 25, 1944, to the late Osper and Cinderella "Rillie" King. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joe Meadows as well as her first husband Thermon Roberts, brothers Roger King and Don King and his wife Wilma, and a brother-in-law Ray Privett

Surviving family include a brother Bill (and Charlotte) King of Pine Knot and two sisters Shelba Meadows of Jefferson, Georgia and Melba Privett of Pine Knot, several nieces and nephews.

Sue was a homemaker and member of the Meadows Grove Baptist Church. She had worked at Outdoor Venture Company and McCreary Manufacturing. She loved spending time with her friends and family, enjoyed going to church and had a great affection for her dogs.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
