Thomas Virgil Miller

Thomas Virgil Miller, age 55, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Friday October 9, 2015 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

Thomas was born January 13, 1960, to Calvin S. Miller and Mary Basil (Wood) Slavey.  He is preceded in death by his father.

Surviving family include his Mother, Mary Basil Slavey of Strunk, a son Thomas Paul (and Mallory) Miller of Helenwood, Tennessee, a daughter: Christiana Miller of Pine Knot, three brothers: David Miller of Revelo, Calvin Ricky Miller of Pine Knot and William Miller of Revelo; three sisters: Rose (and Richard) Hill of Pine Knot, Sue Perry of Pine Knot and Willa Hendrickson also of Pine Knot.  He has five grandchildren: Natalya, Kaydense, Teaira, Adreanna, and Tyson.  He also leaves behind his best friend, C.J. Ball.

Thomas had worked as a supervisor at Outdoor Venture Corporation.  He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, playing pool and being in the great outdoors.  He also enjoyed basketball.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at 1:00pm in the chapel of the Pine Knot Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pine Knot Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 12 noon on Tuesday at the funeral home. Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family of Thomas Miller with his funeral arrangements.
