Trennis Lee Wilson age 66 of Strunk, Kentucky passed from this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.

He was born May 6, 1956 in Oneida, Tennessee to the late Richard "Dick" Wilson, Jr. and Lucy Pauline "Toots" (Miller) Wilson. In addition to his parents, Trennis is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Kaye Wilson.

Surviving family include his sons, Richard Weldon Wilson (and Lindsey) of Louisville, Kentucky and Zachary Lee Wilson (and Lisa) of Strunk, Kentucky; a brother, Ronnie Wilson (and Linda) of Strunk; and 3 grandchildren, Marshall, Mitchell, and Mary-Beth Wilson.

Trennis was a former mail carrier for the United States Postal Service and a well-known farmer. He enjoyed hunting, farming, and being with his family. In past time, Trennis belonged to the Community Christian Church. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Tapley and Bro. Willis Troxell officiating. Burial to follow in the Silerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday after 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
