Trevin Trent McCullough age 58 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, July 31, 2026.
He was born December 6, 1967in Oneida, TN to parents Bertis Neal and Charolett Baird. Trent was adopted at age 6 by Garth McCullough, his mother's 2nd. husband. Trent was raised in Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio, and Arizona. He loved camping, fishing, swimming, and generally just being outdoors. He enjoyed all kinds of music and loved to play around on his harmonica and guitar. He was very easy going and well-liked by most everyone who knew him.
Trent served 6 years in the Army Reserve and was honorably discharged in 1991. He professed Christ when he was a young lad, 11 or 12 years old and was baptized in Georgia at The Field of the Woods Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Cecil Butler. He never lost his faith and always claimed forgiveness.
Trent has 2 sons, Braxton Trent McCullough and Trevin Cole McCullough, 4 grandchildren, Emmaline, Chevelle, Jacob, and Karla and 1 daughter-in-law, Dana of whom he was very fond. He was survived by a brother, Slade and sister-in-law Patty, 3 sisters, Kim, Amy, and Stacy and their spouses, 2 stepbrothers Vince and Brian Turner. and several nephews and nieces and a big bunch of great nephews and nieces. His Uncle Harold was more than an uncle. He was Trent's hero. His mother Charolett was his rock, and Everson Turner was a very strong support and influence in his life.
Trent worked at various jobs, fencing, block laying, truck driving and security before health issues caused him to be disabled. He loved his family so much, was a faithful friend and the world is a less happy, less caring place since Trent isn't here. I pray that he is at peace and no longer in pain and turmoil. We love you so much son, and you'll be in our hearts forever.
