Lonnie and I go way back but I had lost touch since I moved. My condolences to his family and friends he left behind, he was a fun guy who had a passion for whatever he did.

My friend, Lonnie you will be missed by me and so very many others. I will miss our long talks and your hilarious stories. You had the gift of being able to make everyone around you happy with your infectious laugh. You have been a true friend since grade school and I will never forget you.

My son Rick and Lonnie were good friends some years back. Lonnie would call to speak with Rick and if he wasn't home, I would answer the phone. Lonnie and I would always end up talking and laughing for long conversations. I never met him in person, however I felt like I knew him. He had such an awesome laugh and sense of humor and wit and his voice was so kind that I never got tired of hearing from him. I hadn't heard from him in a long, long time, but I will never forget the fun conversations we had and I have a loss in my heart because he is no longer with us. I know you as his family must be broken hearted, but hopefully we will meet again in an eternal home where death will never part us from our loved ones. I hope that all who read this will make sure they know Jesus before your time to die. Jesus loves you so very much and he wants all who know him to have a personal relationship with Him. . God Bless each one who had the opportunity to enjoy him in this life. Sincere Sympathy and prayers, Judy Spears

Lonnie and I were both named after my grandfather Lonnie "Buster" Davis. Lonnie was such a joy to be around. He was always much more concerned about others than for his own welfare. One of the nicest men I had ever met and my number one cousin! You will be greatly missed, I for one will forever remember your wonderful sense of humor and the love you had for others. Rest in peace Lonnie.
